In 2022 Magnet Kitchens started a journey. How to improve their cabinetry not only for end customers but also for their installers. Their ambition and goal to save Magnet Trade installers time.

They looked at every component, including how their kitchen base units where attached to the wall. Like everyone they disliked the fiddly angle brackets. Their Product Manager, Matthew Jones and Head of Product, Cath Harrison agreed there has to be a better way. This is the moment that Matthew discovered Space-Plug and the award winning Adjustable Spacer Fixings. 

The process of changing their cabinetry evolved over the coming months and in September 2023, Magnet Trade launched their new cabinets. Their new kitchen base units save 20% on fitting time. Space-Plug are very proud to be only wall fixing component for their base units - and contribute to this impressive save on fitting time. 

The parent company Nobia, a giant in the kitchen industry in the UK and across Europe, where also introduced to Space-Plugs in a presentation of the all innovations being rolled out in the new cab designs. 

Kristoffer Ljungfelt, Executive Vice President of Nobia met with Space-Plug founder Cliff Petit after learning about this amazing award winning adjustable wall fixing.
